This course will provide participants with the ideas needed to design, plan and implement gamified activities and competitive learning that promote student collaboration and engagement. In this course, participants will learn about the benefits of gamification, but also about its drawbacks and challenges, as well as effective teaching strategies that can be implemented to overcome them!
Teachers will acquire tools for managing individual, pair, group, team, and whole-class participation aimed at facilitating active interaction, and acquiring both knowledge and skills. No prior knowledge about these topics is needed.

- Acquiring, reflecting, refreshing student knowledge of gamification and competitive learning

Milica Aleksić graduated from the University of Belgrade Faculty of Philology, Department of English Language and Literature. She gained experience teaching children and adult learners in several private schools. Her teaching is focused on learning styles, and material and course design and development, with special emphasis on communication skills and practical use of language.
