This course is designed to provide a deeper understanding of the importance of combining modern technologies and teaching methodology with the elements of our natural and social environment. Protection and promotion of the European cultural heritage is also among the strategic objectives of the European Union.
Educators are nowadays expected to link curriculum topics to real-life situations while making use of the students’ abilities as digital natives, as well as service learning.
This, in turn, makes learning more meaningful, and guides students through the acquisition of competencies and life skills (including critical thinking, digital competencies, effective communication, and collaboration) in order to meet learners’ needs.
