Social and emotional learning (SEL) plays an important role in mental growth and maturity. As a critical component of the educational experience, it leads to improvements in students’ behaviour, reduces classroom disruption and scaffolds academic success. Teaching students how to manage their social and emotional growth prepares them for life challenges and enables them to become responsible global citizens. The SEL strengthens their understanding of how to resolve conflicts, handle emotions, empathise, and make responsible decisions.
